Meet the Author:
Kristen B. COle
I'm Kristen B. Cole, and I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome you to my corner of the literary world!
If you’re looking for a one sentence bio, here it is: I’m the wife to a handsome cyber-security expert (so my WIFI is basically Fort Knox), mom to two beautiful terrorists, I mean toddlers, and a full time nurse, who decided that I’d rather spend all my free time stressing over writing/publishing a book instead of enjoying the simple pleasure of curling up with a good one. Who needs relaxation when you can have existential dread, am I right?
Anyways, I absolutely love reading romance novels—all genre’s accepted, no smut-shaming allowed—and by some miracle, I've managed to write a novel of my very own in between working as a nurse, keeping up with my crazy household, and dealing with frequent meltdowns (mine, not the kids).
If you’re at all like me—and I think you are—then you tell yourself stories right before bed, releasing your deepest, darkest fantasies into dreamland to go absolutely nowhere but the recesses of your mind. But this time, one of them escaped from my cranial closet and has made it out into the world (scary, I know). My debut novel, "The Scientist”, is set to release January 21, 2025.
Your new favorite book will be available on Amazon in E-book and Paperback form, so Sabrina Carpenter style Please, Please, Please consider reading my foray into the fine art of Romantic Comedy in January!
Happy reading, and may your TBR pile never topple over.

When an outgoing musical maven meets the enigmatic neuroscientist next door, will their worlds clash in a dramatic showdown of art versus science, or will they discover that love is the ultimate experiment worth conducting?
When celebrated Broadway composer Hadley Olivier’s best friend receives a life-threatening diagnosis, Hadley says goodbye to her beloved home in NYC and sets off to the West Coast to endure a life of sunny skies and an inexplicable obsession with quinoa. Her new life in California comes complete with old friends, a potentially disastrous career change, and a gorgeous but reticent new neighbor, Dr. Alexsander “Lex” Strovinski, whose PhD might actually be in scowling with a minor in silent treatments.
As a world-renowned neurobiologist, Lex has dedicated his life to the single-minded pursuit of scientific breakthroughs, avoiding distractions at all costs. But now, a relentlessly chirpy new neighbor with an emerald green gaze seems intent on sabotaging his focus.
As Hadley and Lex find themselves repeatedly thrown together, what begins as one-sided banter eventually gives way to a profound heart-to-heart connection. But when Hadley’s loved one takes a turn for the worse and Lex is offered a once in a lifetime opportunity overseas, will their newfound connection unravel? Or will they discover that when it comes to opposites attracting, some bonds can never be broken?
