At IRIS, we aspire to be a full service brand for indie authors, which includes developmental assistance. We now offer Developmental Editing and Content Pulls.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING
As the first line, we help you elevate your manuscript by addressing the big picture ideas. Whether a character needs strengthened, a chapter needs moved, dialogue needs reworked, or a plot hole needs sealed, you can trust us to guide your story exactly where it needs to go. Chapter by chapter, sentence by sentence, word by word, we'll leave no page left un-turned. Developmental Editing is a set rate of 0.007/word.

CONTENT PULLS
Content Pulls can aid in developing your story! We'll pull the most memorable content from your manuscript and provide you with strategies to maximize on marketability. We have two tiers of pulls:
1. Basic- $150
2. Leveled up - $350

Both tiers of our content pull include a minimum of 25 pieces of content, ranging from quotes and memorable scenes to tropes and microtropes, and even notable locations!
-Quotes:
Direct passages from your novel that will evoke significant emotional responses from readers. Think love confessions, therapy sessions, funny one liners, or anything that will incite giggles, tears, or other intense emotions.
-Memorable scenes:
Similar to quotes, we pull specific scenes from your book that create an emotional response and highlight them, making potential content suggestions you can utilize them for.
-Tropes and Microtropes:
If you need help establishing tropes or microtropes, we can also include those in your content pull. The list of tropes and microtropes will count towards 1 item of content.
-Noteworthy Locations:
Descriptions of significant locations from your book to be used for marketing purposes. Think of plot centric locations, like the first date diner, the office desk where there's intense chemistry over contracts, the late night car ride where your characters spill their secrets.
Hooks:
Scroll stopping, attention grabbing marketing ideas you can pair with your content pull.

Leveled Up includes everything mentioned above, but with the perk of us creating your marketing content and graphics, not just pulling it and providing guidance.
